The Astrology of Love Triangles
Relationship triangles are an eternal phenomenon of human experience. From Savonarola, Pico, and Ficino to Charles, Camilla, and Di, triangles have given us some of the greatest legends—and the wildest scandals—in history. Looking at them astrologically presents us with the keys of insight to how love and human nature interact in all relationships, whether family, friends, lovers, colleagues, or employers. This exploration will also give us a deeper understanding of what "good" (and "bad") relationships look like astrologically, what pitfalls to look for, and how to help ourselves and others work them through.

Zodiacal Alchemy: Turning the "Lead" in Your Chart into Gold
We all have them—those natal aspects that just seem to get in the way! What can we do with them? What are they there for? We will inquire into these questions and show how every aspect has a purpose—the troubling ones the greatest of all. We will explore the alchemy of the aspects—how we can fuse seemingly unblendable planets and signs. Finally, we will see how synastries, transits, progressions, and directions provide the keys to unlock the doors of these aspects, giving us "golden" opportunities if we fully embrace our experiences in a meaningful way.

Astro-Woundology I: Finding and Healing the Core Wound Using Astrology (also available as seminar/series topic, see below)
Astrology can be blended with the foundations of (core) energetics healing (as explored by Wilhelm Reich, John Pierrakos, and Barbara Brennan) to give a profound experience that has the power to exceed the healing potential of either by itself. This awareness can be used to understand yourself and your loved ones, smooth your way in conflictual situations, and create more meaningful experiences with your clients. Learn how our wound develops. how to find the core wound and detect its nature from the chart, and the 5 responses to each way the wound is expressed.

Astro-Woundology II: The Five Wound Structures and Your Chart (also available as seminar/series topic, see below)
Each person has a core wound whose unique nature can be found in their astrological chart. Until we understand and heal it, we will have difficulty fulfilling the potential that we carry within us. We will explore the process of assisting ourselves, our loved ones, and our clients to heal the core wound that we discover. Learn about the five wound types—what they are, how to detect them, which is your primary wound, and what the astrological flags for each core wound are in the chart. Then learn how to deflect the other’s need (or our own) to recreate the wound and open the doors to healing it.

This series is a truly integrated approach which blends my training in energetic (subtle-body) healing with astrology (plus all the other subjects I've ever studied, from spiritual studies to psychology to linguistics). This series can teach you how to heal, not just identify, an issue in a person's chart and psyche.

General Description:

Astrology provides us with a tool for healing, but using it does not ensure that healing will take place. What can we learn about our art/science if we look at it from an energetic perspective—that is, from the perspective of the human energy field and its dynamics? By understanding this interface, we can be more conscious of what level we can address the healing needs of ourselves, our loved ones, and our clients and facilitate a healing experience. Each seminar builds on those previous, from the subtle to the concrete, reaching into the realms of energetic healing and integrating it fully with our astrological techniques. Each day, we will spend approximately half the time in lecture/discussion and half the time in experience and application. Participants should bring their Western (tropical, geocentric) chart to each session on overhead and dress comfortably.

The foundation of energetic astrology is lies in our ability to perceive what is happening on the energetic level. In this experiential workshop, our subtle-body systems will be introduced and experienced. Today, we will:

Energetic Techniques for Healing the Core Wound

Awareness of interactions on an energetic level gives us a way to keep our finger on the pulse of what a client is experiencing. We can use this knowledge to lovingly gauge how to approach and work with our client, learn how to assess where they are in their healing process, and how to support them in co-creating the healing experience that they need at that time. Using the knowledge base developed so far, we will explore the process of assisting ourselves, our loved ones, and our clients to heal the core wound that we discover. We will learn:

The second center is the seat of trust, as well as the inner child, in the self. Before we can effectively assist a client in healing themselves, we must build trust by dealing with issues associated with the center. Finding Unconscious Issues in the Chart

Each person’s core wound plays out in their lives in a unique way whose nature can be found in the astrological chart. The real story is what is happening on the unconscious levels of communication. Using the knowledge base developed in previous workshops of the "Astro-Woundology" series, we will explore the "hidden" levels of communication to add the final building block to our healing approach. We will learn:

This is a course of study where a high level of participation is desirable and all participants are encouraged to take emotional risks. As the course proceeds, a high level of trust is built which makes participation secure and natural. Fully engaged participants can expect to gain and retain skills and techniques that they can use for years to come, as well as to gain considerable benefits in terms of self-healing during and after the series is completed.

Optionally, a two-day seminar tying in medical applications can be added on at the end of the series. (See below.)

Each day of the seminar series should run 5-5½ hours each day exclusive of lunch. They can be presented intermittently in sequence or as an intensive course on consecutive days. Consecutive-day scheduling greatly increases participant benefits.
