Founder & Director
Accomplished counselor, instructor, and healer Terry Lamb M.A., Linguistics, UCSD, C.A. NCGR) blends more than 30 years’ experience in astrology, alchemy, and multi-dimensional (auric) healing to catalyze her clients’ growth processes. She uses mirroring and redirection of energy to assist clients in achieving spiritual and personal goals by dissolving hidden blockages. She is author of Born to Be Together: Love Relationships, Astrology, and the Soul, and The Cycles of Childhood. Her new book, Zodiacal Healing, will be published in 2006. She founded the Astrological Certification Program in 1996, a two-year program in astrology and serves on the NCGR Board of Examiners.

Mary Kay (B.A., UC Irvine) is a human potential coach and healer who integrates more than 25 years’ experience in business, training, healing, and personal development with an attunement to subtle energies and symbology. Her focus is to help clients engage hidden or underutilized strengths and skills for professional and spiritual development. Prior to moving into private practice three years ago, she created and implemented programs for people in life and career transition at UC San Diego and San Diego State University.

This awareness can be used to understand yourself and your loved ones, smooth your way in conflictual situations, and sparks the healing process in your clients. This program uses the foundation established by Victoria and Gordon Merkle, Alexander Lowen, John and Eva Pierakos, Barbara Brennan, and Robert Jaffe, which is blended with psycho-spiritual astrology, resulting in a powerful alchemy.

Our Mission Statement
Astro-Energetic HealingSM strives to foster:

Program Objectives
• Become a certified Astro-Energetic Healing Practitioner (AEHP), Facilitator (AEHF), and Instructor (AEHI).

Combining astrology and healing creates a nexus of power in the practitioner that quickens the client’s healing and ensoulment. It is the goal of this program to create and nurture this nexus in each practitioner.
Level of Expertise Required
This series is for current and prospective practitioners of astrology or healing. Healers will have the opportunity to take astrology courses before and during the seminar series. Astrologers will also be able to take these courses to enhance their knowledge of the astrological foundations for this program. Four modules in astrology or their equivalent are required to complete the program. A complete program of certification of astrology is available for those who wish further study.

Diploma of Mastery in Astro-Energetic Healing Facilitation
A module is comprised of a four-day seminar taught in a tranquil retreat setting. During the four days, a variety of concepts and techniques are explored and applied, from the subtle to the concrete, based on the module’s theme. Each day, we will spend approximately half the time in lecture/discussion and half the time in experience and application. Participants should bring their Western (tropical, geocentric) chart to each session and dress comfortably. Massage tables are used in some sessions.
A high level of participation is desirable, and all participants are encouraged to take emotional risks. As the course proceeds, trust is built which makes deep participation and processing secure and natural. Fully engaged participants can expect to gain and retain skills and techniques that they can use for years to come, as well as to gain considerable benefits in terms of self-healing during and after the series is completed.
The modules are scheduled 3–4 months apart, and assignments given to be completed individually or within the community during the inter-sessional periods that reinforce skills introduced during the module. These will include practice of skills and techniques with other students; those whose skills in astrology are incomplete may wish to undertake astrological studies as well. A course of Astro-Energetic healing treatments from a qualified practitioner is also required for completion of the program.
Each time we meet, we will have four full days of instruction and experiences scheduled Thursday through Sunday, plus a Wednesday evening social gathering. Each full day runs 9 AM – 5:30 PM with a lunch break. The modules are presented in a secluded retreat location that is accessible from major airports, with on-site or local accommodations.
Improving Your Astrological Skills
Although minimal astrological understanding is required in the first three modules, from the fourth, an intermediate level of skill is needed. A series of four seminars in astrology is taught as an adjunct to this program to provide the requisite expertise. They are scheduled between the AEH sessions so that students reach the desired skill level by the fourth module.
Three more astrological modules are available to reach an advanced level and afford eligibility for certification as an astrological professional. They are scheduled as needed.
The astrological foundation can also be gained through home study in the Astrological Certification Program. Masters’ Seminars are available to those who wish to further increase their attunement and skills. For example, a module focusing on medical astrology is available.
Certification in astrology is not necessary to become an AEHP.

An Introduction to Astro-Energetic Healing
(Introductory Lecture) Astrology is a powerful tool well-known for its ability to pinpoint issues and strengths, fast-tracking us to an understanding of what’s going on inside. Energetic, or subtle-body, healing provides a way to effect profound changes which enrich daily experience and enhance our ability to fulfill our soul’s path. Combining them joins heaven and earth to create a potent healing field within. In this presentation, you will see:
• how our divine potential gets buried

Astro-Giftology: Recover Your Blueprint
Exploring Astro-Energetic Healing
(One-Day Workshop) This event gives an experiential introduction to the Astro-Energetic Healing Program. Attendees will learn more about the technique, explore the five gifts and wounds in greater depth, and discover a simple way to find the wound’s representation in an astrological birth chart. We will explore:
• a simple way to see our core masks (wound) in the chart
• the 5 core wounds - what they are, how to detect them
• the gift in each wound
• how the mask is created
• how the wounds recreate themselves
• which is your primary wound
• the 5 wounds and the astrological signs
• how to stop recreating the wounds in ourselves and others
Discover Your Core Wound
This module begins the experiential process that is described in the introductory workshop and lecture. Although information is repeated from the introductory events, here we take the time to experience and integrate the information. All astrology required for this module will be covered in session. We will more deeply explore:
• how the wound develops from childhood to adulthood
• how to find the core wound and detect its nature from the chart
• the 5 core wounds - what they are, how we experience them
• how to use our gaze to lovingly explore and heal another’s energy field
• which wounds are your strongest and what triggers them
• how to find the 5 core wound structures in the chart
• the responses to each way the wound is expressed
• how to stop recreating the wounds in ourselves and others
• ways to reduce the wound’s expression in ourselves and our clients
• apply these principles and techniques to the charts of participants
Fundamentals of Astro-Energetic Healing
The foundation of Astro-Energetic Healing lies in our ability to perceive what is happening on the energetic level. In this module, we will discover and experience our subtle-body systems. We will:
• learn about the human energy field, the body’s energy centers, and correlate them to astrology
• experience our energy fields
• learn to see clairvoyantly and develop other extrasensory skills
• develop our ability to heal with the healing glance
• explore the ways we interact with each other energetically
• understand spiritual initiation and how it affects the aura, the healing process, and life in the “real” world
Energetic Techniques for Healing the Core Wound
Awareness of interactions on an energetic level gives us a way to keep our finger on the pulse of what a client is experiencing. We can use this knowledge to lovingly gauge how to approach and work with our client, learn how to assess where they are in their healing process, and how to support them in co-creating the healing experience that they need at that time. Using the knowledge base developed so far, we will explore the process of assisting ourselves, our loved ones, and our clients to heal the core wound that we discover. We will learn:
• the process by which all healing takes place
• how to detect when someone is “in their wound”
• how to relate the wounds to physical, emotional, mental, and energetic conditions
• how to be non-threatening in our gaze, stance, and behaviors to open the doors to healing
• how to use our energetic bodies (aura) to assist in the healing process
• to experience and guide someone through the Awareness Release Technique (ART)
Integrating Astrology and Energetic Healing
Each person has a core wound whose unique nature can be found in the astrological chart. After learning about the energetics of human nature and the core wound, it is time to infuse our astrology with this knowledge. An intermediate knowledge of astrology is a prerequisite for this and following modules. In Part IV of the series, we will learn:
• more in-depth knowledge about the 5 core wound structures in the chart
• how to integrate healing and astrological modalities in personal and client work
• the astrological dialoguing technique to gently explore a person’s core wound/issue
• about “meta-counseling”: dependency and closure issues and the astrologer’s wound
• to apply these principles and techniques to sample charts and charts of participants
• how to draw on planetary and zodiacal energies in your healing process
Second Center Wound Issues and Trust
The second center is the seat of trust, as well as the inner child, in the self. Before we can effectively assist a client in healing themselves, we must build trust by dealing with issues associated with the center. Although deep trust is built over time, trust and safety issues can be alleviated from the start using these techniques. We will learn about:
• the nature of the unconscious mind
• more about the second center and its issues: safety, trust, and how they are built and violated
• how these issues come out in interaction
• how to help a client feel safe enough to reveal themselves
• how to create a safe haven
• how to find safety and trust issues in the chart
• how to hear the unconscious messages the person is giving you
• apply these principles and techniques to sample charts and charts of participants
Finding and Healing Unconscious Issues/Internship
Each person’s core wound plays out in their lives in a unique way whose nature can be found in the astrological chart. The real story is what is happening on the unconscious levels of communication. Using the knowledge base developed in previous modules of the Astro-Energetic Healing series, we will explore the “hidden” levels of communication to add the final building block to our healing approach. The internship helps you segue into your own practice with confidence. We will learn:
• how to find unconscious issues in the chart
• how to see what issues are “up” at any given time
• the four levels of astrological analysis and how to see them operating in a person’s life
• how to tie the chart’s signatures into physical, emotional, mental, and energetic conditions
• how to read body language and verbal cues to the unconscious’s constant messages
• how to tell when events occurred which triggered the core wound (recurrence and precurrence events in the chart)
• how to predict when the next trigger(s) will occur
• apply these principles and techniques to sample charts and charts of participants
Astro-Energetic Healing Practitioner Internship
This module completes the program and teaches the individual to engage in ongoing therapy with clients — how to initiate, maintain, and complete a course of treatment with sensitivity to the client’s unconscious needs so that true healing takes place. The module is completed after a period of supervision, after which the practitioner is encouraged to participate in a peer supervision group. We will learn how to:
• read the clues that a client can benefit by a course of treatment
• invite the client to engage in it
• recognize psychological disorders and find them in the chart
• recognize when a client needs to be referred for other therapies
• manage the treatment and anticipate its ups and downs using astrology
• know when the client is done
• how to close treatment
• how to help couples and families
Facilitating Healing Processes
One of the most potent ways of experiencing Astro-Energetic Healing is as a facilitator. This module is fulfilled through facilitating during at least three of the healing modules I-VII. After this training, you will be qualified to serve as a paid facilitator in the program. We will explore:
• how to manage a group and its energies.
• how to manage our own energies in a group.
• intervening in another’s healing experience — when and how to do it
• how to use astrology to support the group’s process.
Additional modules offering certification in Instruction/Group Healing are also planned.
Studies in Astrology
A full series of astrology seminars is available for those who desire to sharpen their skills in the broad range of astrological studies. Please see the brochure for the Astrological Certification Program. Certification is available through the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR), where our program has equivalency at Level II. These courses can also be used for credit in the second year of study at the Kepler College of Astrological Arts and Sciences when taking the certification track.
